Volcanic Patches

Anyong Haseyo Bloggie!!

Chal ji nae sho sso yo?! Hahaha!

I'm back! You didn't think I abandoned you right?? Hehehe =P

Honestly I'm hopeless when it comes to writing down my personal thoughts, experiences etc on this kind of online diary or blog of whatever you call it. I know la it's a blog...DUH! Hehehe =P

Anyway, where do I begin?? More like HOW do I begin?? Gawd! How can you ask yourself this question CML??

Hmmm....OK here goes...it all began last Friday night, I was starting to have a little bit of a sore throat so I downed myself with some vitamins and cold pills and it knocked me right off my feet. Nevertheless I had a good night's sleep as my flat-mates and I were off for a day trip to Phillip Island the very next day.

Saturday - I woke up at 8am feeling a little bit drowsy due to the cold pills that I had taken the night before. Trust me, it's very effective but it makes you really drowsy, so if you're allergic to alcohol and wanna feel high, cold pills are the next best thing. Hahaha =P
Anyway, I had to go and pick up the rented car at 9am so I left at 8.30 and off I went. The weather was pretty gloomy to begin with and we were crossing our fingers that the strong winds would just push the rain clouds away. It did happen on and off, what can I say...I ain't the weather controller =S
I reached Budget rentals around 8.45 and went to collect the car. Mana tau when they were entering my details into the computer, their system crashed so I had to wait a freaking half an hour until I finally got my car. They had to enter my details manually this time. The only good thing to this is that they upgraded my car to a bigger vehicle for free, if not I'll sure smack them left, right and center if I were to pay for it if they ran out of my initial rented car. Once I got the car, I had to go and pick up LP's supposedly "friend" =P who was staying somewhere in the city. Mana tau again the route I took had so many freaking road works that another delay had occurred and I was stuck in a freaking jam in Melbourne CBD!! Anyway, by the time I finally picked up the friend and went back to our apartment to pick up EY and LP, it was almost 10am...An hour to get to each other's place when we ourself just live in the CBD area as well =S
That aside, we finally got on our way and this time we were racing for time to head to the nearest McDonald's for breakfast as their menu was only until 11am. We did bypass a few but we wanted to go to one that was along the way, mana tau again time was really against us and there were no McDonald's in sight along the highway that we were on. We decided to make a detour and finally reached our Maccus destination on the DOT 11AM!! We just missed our brekky menu by seconds and had to make do with the normal menu =(
Once we finished our breakfast, we continued to our destination, we did plan a few places to go, but because of the time constraint that was due to the delay earlier in the day, we had to cut short our trip to just a few only. It was still good anyhow =)
We took a couple of nice shots at the places we went. The weather was playing hide and seek with us and so did we =P The highlight of my trip was the barbecue which we had prepared the night before. We had the famous "Volcanic Flying Wings", made by me, named by EY and licked to the bone by LP. HAHAHA! Actually LP's friend ate to the bone which was =S I shan't mention hehehe =P
Once that was done, we went to several other places and took some nice shots as well =) On the way home, my body started to feel itchy and I soon realized that my body was coming out with red patches of rash and I started to freak out. By the time we arrived home, I went straight to the showers and part of my body was practically covered with red patches of rash and it was super itchy!! I quickly put some of the skin medicine on my body and took some antihistamine to subdue the patches and went straight to bed after.

Sunday - This morning my body was a little better but come afternoon, the red patches were starting to appear again, and this time on my face. I went to the pharmacist to seek for advise on the cause of it...mana tau the pharmacist say it could be due to a mosquito bite?!?! WTH?!?! Gawd knows where she graduated from...mosquito bites don't come out in red patches in different places...Even a lay person would have known that. Anyway she did give me some skin medicine and antihistamine to take and so I did. I went home, took a shower and put the medicine as prescribed. Felt a little better and some of the red patches disappeared but new ones appeared. I seriously wondered what was happening with my body. Had a very early night as my body was starting to ache due to the medicine I was taking.

Monday - Woke up with a sore back, especially the parts where the red patches of rash had appeared. My joints were aching and my head was feeling a little heavy. Decided not to go to work and stayed home to rest. And currently this is exactly where I am writing this blog...I just hope that by tomorrow morning I would be back to my normal self as I'll be cycling to work and need all the energy I can get. I think I may have gotten an allergy virus rash which I can't think of how and when it happened...All I hope is that my body will recover soon in time for the next road trip in the coming weeks =P

Anyong ga se yo Bloggie!
